Julien Beaudiment, former principal flute of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, is now principal flute of the Opéra National de Lyon and professor at the CNSM in Lyon. A graduate of the Guildhall School in London and the Paris Conservatoire, he has performed worldwide as a soloist in major halls and with leading orchestras under renowned conductors including Simon Rattle, Gustavo Dudamel and Esa-Pekka Salonen.

An active chamber musician and respected teacher, he gives masterclasses in top international institutions and teaches each summer in Nice and at Domaine Forget in Canada. He is also ambassador for the Kidney Foundation and a board member of Music Beyond, supporting young musicians in Africa.
