Suzanne Jerosme

After studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne, Suzanne joined the ensemble of Theater Aachen, where she performed until the 2023/24 season. She has since sung a wide range of roles, including Poppea (L’incoronazione di Poppea), Blanche (Dialogues des Carmélites), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Despina (Così fan tutte), Manon, Mimì (La Bohème), and Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro).

A finalist at the “Pietro Antonio Cesti” Competition, she was invited to perform the title role in Keiser’s Octavia at the Innsbruck Early Music Festival. She has made notable debuts at the Opéra Royal de Versailles, Opéra National de Lorraine, and Bayreuth Baroque, and has collaborated with ensembles such as Ensemble Matheus, Accademia Bizantina, Le Banquet Céleste, and Il Gusto Barocco.

Her concert work includes major repertoire such as Mahler’s Resurrection Symphony, Brahms’ German Requiem, Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor, and Handel’s La Resurrezione. She has also appeared at leading venues including Theater an der Wien, the Concertgebouw, and La Scala.

In the 2024/25 season, Suzanne will perform at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Opéra Royal de Versailles, the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music, and the International Handel Festival in Karlsruhe, notably debuting as Almirena in Rinaldo.
