Marie-Claude Pietragalla pays tribute to Barbara in an intimate, luminous project, led by Yannaël Quenel’s piano and a duet with Serge Lama, born from a meeting at the Châtelet and brought to the stage of the Olympia in January 2026.
One October evening at the Châtelet, Pietragalla met Barbara in her dressing room. From that embrace, from that gaze, was born the desire for a joint project, left suspended like an unfinished promise.
From her show Pietragalla Barbara then arose the thirst to delve further into the fragile and incandescent world of the "Lady in Black." This path, patiently traversed in the solitary complicity of creation, now finds its setting in the sensitive and luminous piano of Yannaël Quenel, and is illuminated by an unforgettable duet with Serge Lama.
Thus, the "Woman who Dances" pays tribute to the "Woman who Sings" and, in her own way, fulfills the dream shared with Barbara.
