about

Ensemble Stravaganza is a young Baroque ensemble founded by two musicians, Domitille Gilon and Thomas Soltani. It brings together young performers from Europe's leading conservatories (Conservatoire supérieur de musique et de danse de Lyon, Conservatoire supérieur d'Amsterdam, Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris...).

The ensemble focused on the Habsburg court, where music flourished under Ferdinand III, bringing together courts, musicians and composers from all over Europe. This album takes us back to the gems of this glorious era, featuring works by Schmelzer, Biber, Walther and Froberger.
